Intranet

Intranet Ad

Starting in March 2013 I worked as an office assistant and graphic designer at the Church History Library in Utah. There they assigned me to work on some ads to market the library’s resources. This particular ad was displayed in August 2013 and was meant to advertise the intranet page for the Church History Department (CHD), so the employees will know where to access all the relevant information. The box the woman is carrying in her shopping cart is a copy of the intranet site. The cart is modeled after a Goodwill cart and this image is owned by the Church History Library.

Here is another ad I completed for the Church History Department. This one is meant to advertise the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City. There you can buy jewelry, shirts, snow globes, pins, DVDs, children’s books, buttons, figurines, and even a Jesus bust! Special discounts were given to Church History employees and missionaries. This was displayed on September 2013.

CHD Training Ad

Training Ad

This particular ad was made to market the importance of training in the Church History Library. Here the graduated employee is making a play on “PhD,” calling it “ChD.” Because once you’ve mastered the basics of the Church History Department, you’re a true graduate! The blonde man from this ad and the shopping cart woman from the intranet ad became the basis for “Ned & Samantha,” a comic series that ran in the Church History Library.
