Stylish Forest

This is a stylish forest I made using a pencil for the trees, a toothbrush for the waterfall, and q-tips for the apples. Everything else was done with brushes.

President Obama

Here is my rendition of Obama, the 44th president of the United States. I used one of his publicity photos for reference and the illustration was done entirely with color pencils.

Sneakers

Here is an illustration of some sneakers I used to own. It was originally drawn in my sketchbook, only to be colored and inked in Adobe Illustrator.

Jim Carrey Collage

Here is my Jim Carrey collage. I drew four variations of him based on famous artists. The first one (on the far left) is Jim Carrey based on Pablo Picasso. The second is based on Hayao Miyazaki, the third based on Andy Warhol, and the last is based on Jack Kirby.

Morty the Beaver

This is an original character I created some years ago. His name is Morty and he’s always “Mortified!” His design is based a bit on The Angry Beavers and Sonic the Hedgehog. Copyright Michael Bowers.

Tree

This drawing comes from a book I illustrated back in 2012. It is called The Big Move and The First Day At School. This particular story deals with the stress of moving to a new home and having to go to a different school. I created it for the company MyJennyBook and they were so impressed with my art that they had me draw three more books for them. They include Me and My Robot, The MyJenny ABC Book, and Hello, World!
