Mickey Mouse Collage
Created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, this adorable little mouse would become the face of one of the biggest companies in the world! Here I went for an albino Mickey, rather than the usual flesh-colored Mickey. Personally, I think it suits him better. These Mickey Mouse poses were originally created in my sketchbook, so I decided to scan them in and color them in Photoshop. Mickey Mouse is owned by Disney Studios.
Felix the Cat Collage
Created by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer, this mischievous cat became one of the first animated stars to hit the silver screen! The design is mostly based on the Don Oriolo movie where Felix would shoot lasers from his eyes and turn his magic bag of tricks into whatever he wanted. I had a lot of fun sketching the little guy and inking him in Photoshop. Felix is owned by Dreamworks Animation.
Sonic Characters Collage
Here is some fan art of famous SEGA characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose. The brown Tails is based on the animated cartoons that aired in the early 90s – Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM). To the far right you can see Paper Sonic as he’s all folded! This piece was made in Photoshop. Sonic and characters are owned by SEGA.
Some more illustrations of the ever-popular mouse. Here I drew him angrier and more mischievous. The devil Mickey at the far right has the makings of a creepypasta! Like the previous Mickey collage, this one was made in Photoshop.
Perry the Platypus
This is Perry the Platypus of Phineas and Ferb fame. Here I decided to portray him as a little tougher, making him a gambling, chain-smoking brawler with muscles, which he isn’t in the show. Rather, he’s just a secret agent out to foil the villainous Dr. Doofenshmirtz. This illustration was done in Illustrator. Phineas and Ferb is owned by Disney.
Shadow the Hedgehog
This is Shadow the Hedgehog, first introduced in Sonic Adventure 2, and the friendly rival of Sonic the Hedgehog. This was also done in Illustrator. Chaos Control! Shadow is owned by SEGA.
Sonic Characters Collage 2
Some more Sonic art, only this one includes characters from the 1993 Saturday morning show, Sonic the Hedgehog. Also known as SatAM, the show introduced characters such as a bunny android named Bunnie and a squirrel named Princess Sally. At the top left you can see an Eggman drawing inspired by Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, thanks to its silly nature. This drawing was done in Photoshop and SatAM characters are owned by Cookie Jar Entertainment.
Ren Hoek
In case you didn’t know, this is Ren Hoek from the controversial cartoon Ren & Stimpy. This is my own original drawing of the guy and I wanted to capture the zaniness of the show. It’s unfortunate what happened behind the scenes with series creator John Kricfalusi, but I do find the show to be well-made regardless. This was created in Illustrator.
